Windows 7 has a built-in tool for improving the battery performance in laptops ,this feature helps one to improve the battery performance of laptop.
1.Open the command prompt ; Type cmd in search box , and when the cmd icon appears , Right click and choose "Run as administrator".
2.Type the following line :
powercfg -energy -output \Folder\Energy_Report.html
* " \Folder" represents the folder where you want the report to be displayed..
3.Wait for a minute , because Window will examine the behavior that is happening in your laptop , after a minute it will display a report in form of HTML format in the folder that you have specified.
4.Open the HTML file , it will display the report and follow the recommendations/instructions to improve laptop battery performance .
NOTE:
*This feature is available only for Windows 7 user(Admin) .
